We are pleased to announce the 2026 Annual Conference of the Swiss Society for Research in Education (SSRE), organized in collaboration with the Swiss Society for Teacher Education (SSTE). The conference will take place from 17–19 June 2026 at the University of Teacher Education St.Gallen and will focus on the theme:
«Education for a thriving and sustainable future»
Global crises – such as climate change, social inequalities, geopolitical tensions, and disruptive developments in fields such as artificial intelligence – present education with profound challenges. The 2026 Annual Conference will explore how educational research and teacher education can contribute to building a sustainable, resilient, and democratic society.
